HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Live Strategy Sessions Every Other Week
We meet every other week to talk, vent, brainstorm, troubleshoot, network, get motivated, hold each other accountable, encourage collaborations, learn from guest speakers and industry experts, etc.
You can ask questions, get feedback on your teaching or marketing, or troubleshoot any problems that you’re having. We can also just talk about speech stuff or blocks that you are facing in your business.
NOTE TO SPEECH PATHOLOGISTS ABOUT EARNING CE HOURS and professional development for accent reduction: Although live sessions are not approved for earning ASHA CEUs, we do document attendance and will provide a certificate of attendance on request, so you can use these sessions to earn Professional Development Hours. Learn about the difference between ASHA CEUs and CMHs here.
You'll also get access to an extensive library of past sessions, so you can review and learn at your own pace.
In recent sessions we have covered:
- Using ChatGPT and Open AI for marketing and teaching
- Listening practice and mock assessments to improve our evaluation skills
- How to teach rhythm and intonation of the American accent
- How to film, edit, and create promo videos on a tight budget
- Should you post rates on your website?
- Is there such a thing as too much feedback?
- Systems to run your business more efficiently
- Using Instagram and TikTok to find new students
- Creative ways (beyond private sessions) to increase revenue and grow your business.
- What goes into a Facebook/Google Ad (with my template)
- What you REALLY need on your website when you are just starting out
- What to consider when working with a student with a very mild accent (i.e. you don't think they need your services)
- Crafting emails that get engagement and make sales
- What to do with students/clients who just want to talk (and not work on sounds or anything specific)
- Affiliates as an extra stream of income
- How to ask for testimonials without making it awkward
- Improving client retention
- How to easily create an email video course
- How offering long-term support benefits our students AND our business
And so much more...
Replays are available and all students may submit questions whether they attend live or not.

Meet Jessica Kijowski, MS, CCC-SLP, the creator of The Speech Coach Collective.
I'm an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over two decades of experience specializing in accents, dialects, and pronunciation. I've had the pleasure of working with some truly amazing speakers! From award-winning actors and models to executives, lawyers, diplomats, and professional voice users – you name it, I've seen it all.
In 2014, I started my own accent training private practice from scratch with ZERO students. I now have a full caseload with a months long waitlist. This firsthand experience has given me valuable insights into the excitement and challenges of building a business in this exciting field and I want to share them all with you!
I'm not only dedicated to working with students; I also train teachers to master accents and pronunciation. By empowering teachers with these skills, they can build their own speech coaching businesses or side hustles, transforming the lives of their own students. I have personally spoken to countless individuals out there seeking dedicated accent instructors to overcome communication obstacles that hinder their professional growth, self-esteem, and social interactions.
If you’re a teacher looking to build a business and make a difference in the lives of your own students, I'm here to support you every step of the way. I'm excited to share every bit of my extensive experience with you inside the SCC.
Unlock a wealth of knowledge, inspiration, and resources to empower your students to communicate more effectively, one word at a time.
